This is Us
Arctic Aurora Hideaway is more than just a Nordic place to stay; it is a story we have created and a place we are proud to share. This landscape, these seasons, and this unique way of life are part of who we are.
A few years ago we, who were born and raised locally, built this house ourselves on the shores of Norvajärvi. The villa’s owner, an architect, designed it with a vision to combine modern comfort, functionality, and a deep connection to the surrounding Arctic nature. Every detail reflects our appreciation for the landscape: the lake, the forest, and the ever-changing northern sky.
Today, the villa is dedicated entirely to accommodating travellers, allowing our guests to fully enjoy the space, privacy, and atmosphere it was designed to offer. The idea of starting accommodation came naturally at a turning point in our lives when our four children grew up and moved out. Business was created from a desire to share this unique place and way of life. We wanted to offer others, especially those coming from busy international cities the opportunity to experience the same sense of peace, space, and connection to nature. Here, you can walk outside, breathe fresh Arctic air, and let children play freely in a safe, natural environment – something we value deeply.
